課程概述

This course starts from the introductory lectures for theory, concept and evidence-based practices of early childhood intervention. Then some advance classes for assessment, and outcome evaluation for children with developmental delay. The students will complete a systematic review report for the effectiveness of an early intervention program. 

課程目標
1. Be able to understand the concepts and content of early childhood intervention and holistic care for children in need.
2. Be able to understand the status of early intervention in Taiwan and in the western countries.
3. Be able to understand the roll of physical therapists in early intervention and the collaborative models in various settings.
4. Be able to understand the knowledge of ICF-CY, Client Management model, assessment and intervention for infants and children, and cost-effectiveness analysis.
5. Be able to understand the evidence-based practice and related research of early intervention.
6. Be able to integrate the knowledge, to find and summarize the evidence of early childhood intervention programs.
